designate-sink software package provides OpenStack DNS as a Service - sink, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install designate-sink
designate-sink is installed in your system.
Make ensure the designate-sink package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep designate-sink *
You will get with designate-sink package name, version, architecture and description in a table
